I guess we just need to keep the blue dogs liquored up
Max Baucus takes on the Republicans on obstructing healthcare.

Unfortunately he has to be drunk off his ass to do it.

I doubt there's enough booze on Earth to get cap-and-trade through the senate, but hey... its worth a shot.

2. Wow. I'd read about Baucus being shit-faced, but he does appear so.
And to excuse Grassley because of the pressure he got? :eyes: I also remember how dead-set against HCR Grassley was after all was said and done, and he wasn't (didn't appear to be anyway) drunk.

4. It certainly couldn't hurt
Maybe lace the punch we give 'em with some acid. IT might push the assholes a bit to the left any way.

5. I say we try it. If it doesn't work we could trick their drunk asses into resigning.

6.  Watching brought Lincoln's thoughts about Grant's drinking
to mind. Maybe Obama should find out what Baucus has been drinking and send cases of it to Landrieu, Nelson, Conrad and even Lieberman. With their skewed vision of the world, it may be necessary to get them cock-eyed drunk to see clearly.

7. Throughout its history, the US Congress seems to have worked best
when drunk. Evidently many members of congress are very heavy consumers.
