It's not 2001 anymore, so why is there still a 'house' avatar for Dick effin' Gephardt?

The avatars provided by DU are pitiably out-of-date. I realize you're busy guys with 'real' lives aside from running DU, but you can always delegate authority to some capable DUers who would be more than happy to update the ragtag collection of avatars currently available. I'm not advocating elimination of any avatars (hell, there may be a thriving community of Dick Gephardt supporters just waiting for his triumphant comeback, for all I know); I'm merely suggesting a modest upgrade that will bring options into a new decade.

If you or anyone else wants to collect some new avatars, we'd love to have 'em.

2. I can start searching

but it would be good to have some creative types Photoshop some avatars that are certifiably copyright-free. Wouldn't want to have a situation like those Simpsons avatars over which Fox Entertainment threatened a lawsuit.
