Text preview function?

In some forums that I frequent, when you hover over the subject title of a thread, a small preview window pops up with the first few lines of text contained in the original post. I think this could be a useful addition to DU.

Is this feasible, and if so, what are your thoughts regarding it?

1. That would be a handy thing to have.

Someday we might do it. But right now we have lots of other higher priorities that we are focused on.
