So here we are at home
Edited on Fri Dec-31-10 11:50 PM by nadinbrzezinski
me watching the joke of CNN's show om the New Year...

It's been over a decade that I have gone out for a new year. 2000 I spent it at home, while hubby was on deployment, 1998 was the last year I worked in EMS...correction, it wasn't 1998, but '96... how fast time flies. That was an ahem interesting year.

So after many years of going out and picking up the idiots who were way too drunk to drive... and other parts and pieces... well we make it a practice to just come home around four in the afternoon and just stay home. Not much of a party animal, and quite brutally honest, let the young kids pick up the pieces.

If you believe, a prayer for those fine folks in EMS, police and fire would be nice. (I don't), but it is that much more dangerous due to drunks.

Stay safe, and definitely happy new year and may things finally improve next year. We really need it.

Oh and Anderson... that is a joke. It is embarrassing... is this what CNN has gone down to?

Oh and to two years from now, after 2012 apocalypse don't come to pass. we will laugh at all that too.

3. I haven't turn my TV on for five years except for the Super Bowl and the few days of Obama's
inauguration.

Turn it off .. let it go. That is how we get even.

4. I generally speaking use it for background
and let me tell you, the two parrots in the morning insist on it. They like the noise.

:-)

At times I have MSNBC in the background for them and hartman in the kitchen while I cook.

6. I had a heck of a time hooking up the cable to the set for those days with Obama.
But I keep the evil eye off. Have been listening to:

'Head On Radio Network High-Quality User Stream' on iTunes.

They have some progressive talk at times but they've gone home to celebrate for the weekend. They've left us with Vivaldi...

Happy New Year all!
