My MMXI predictions
Happy MMXI

My 2011/MMXI Predictions:

1) The Dream Act will pass the Senate & House by the end of the year.

2) The Senate 'will' tweek the filibuster and the secret hold rules on the first day of the 112th Congress (with 52 'yes' votes) - and the GOP & Teaparty will have a $hitFit.

3) President Obama will have the opportunity to appoint his THIRD U.S. Supreme Court Justice - and the nominee will be confirmed in August.

Looking forward to hearing y'all's predictions ;)

1. My predictions:
1. Gas prices sour and the economy dips back into recension.

2. Total gridlock and government shutdown, despite reform of the Filibuster. The House become an circus of RW witch-hunts.

3. Increasing violence from the Teabaggers.

4. Portugal and Spain get hit by bankster Smash-and-Austerity.

2. Right-wingers will repeat the mid 90's.
Even impeachment if they can get an "issue."

And it'll result in the same GOP disaster.

5. Well that is interesting.
I read somewhere yesterday that a political analysist predicted that one of the justices would retire this year - wonder if it will be Thomas :)

7. I think that Ginsburg won't retire.
The reason I think that is because she knows that Sandra Day O'connor is regretting that she retired,
and I think that Ginsburg probably has had lengthy discussion with O'connor.
Anyway I am hoping that Ginsburg won't retire.
And besides I believe there was an article that come out in 2009 or 2010 and Ginsburg was quoted as saying that she is not going anywhere for a very long time.
