The politics of this.... will it give Obama a stronger hand in budget debate?

Boehner and Cantor and Ryan will have to go head to head with a President whose approval ratings will be north of 60% in a week.

1. Stronger ability to make the ARGUMENT that we can/should cut back on defense spending but
real 'power' I highly doubt it.
