Did anybody else see W. Bush's statement?

I was floored when the news media released statements from Bill Clinton as well as old Dubya Bush early this morning, because it doesn't seem possibly that the inarticulate bumbler Dubya could come up with a seemingly articulate and extraordinarily lengthy statement, especially so late at night.

You expect articulate statements from Clinton. But Dubya's chief characteristic is his moronic inability to put three or four words together in a meaningful sentence.

I'd expect Dubya's actual response to be more like, "No shit? Yeah, great."

So what publicist pre-prepared this work of modern fiction for release, just in case a Real, Elected President succeeded where the former pResident failed?

Of course Bush's response was scripted.
