7. That part of the story is hard for me to believe.

He was in the mountains fairly near the Afghanistan border. They went in with two helicopters, killed Osama Bin Laden but almost no one else and somehow put his body into one of the helicopters and dropped it at sea but no Americans died.

Either I don't understand something, or I don't understand the facts or something is wrong with that picture.

They need to provide more details, and if they had the time to carry Osama Bin Laden to the sea, then surely they have a picture or something that will prove to the world that they really got the right man.

As I have said frequently on DU today, it is out of strange stories like this that myths are born. I would like to see not only the end of the Bin Laden bunch but also the end of the mythology behind Al Qaeda.

A U.S. defense official says Bin Laden was given a religious funeral before burial at sea. That was aboard a US carrier in the Arabian Sea.
