Which States Have the Teabaggers Taken Over?

Which states have fallen to total Teabagger control?

By this I mean the governor and both houses of the state legislature,
allowing them to pass whatever they want with no Democratic votes.

They have a program for complete takeover of all levels of government in those states, which they have begun to roll out.

We already stand to lose many seats due to gerrymandering, but taking over local governments will give them complete
control of the elections in those states, and impose systematic voter suppression to ensure future Republican victories.

Do we have any way to fight this?:

1. I'd add Indiana

Our governor seems to be a gentler, kinder version of Scott Walker/John Kasich. In this past session alone, Planned Parenthood (and women) got the axe, we're getting a bunch of new (and crazy) abortion restrictions, we're getting school vouchers, an anti-gay marriage amendment passed for the first time ever- and that was all done even though our House Democrats fled to Illinois for a little over a month. I would add that we even got a "birther" bill introduced last Monday but the bill's sponsor didn't even show up for the committee hearing on it and the hearing didn't even happen b/c they couldn't get a quorum (I guess that was just a little too crazy for most of them).

Oh, and no jobs bills were introduced and/or passed.

6. Heartily agree

and Governor Daniels has been running for president since the
first grade. This reluctance is one big show to convince
the sheeple into encouraging him further. As he runs to the
right to secure the nomination of his party
he will only antagonize the moderates and independents and
drive them further away from supporting him. The more he
responds to the DRUMBEAT OF THE DINGBATS we should make
sure he stays in that territory and deprive him of any movement
back to the center if and when he secures his party's nomination.

13. He's pretty much damned if he does, damned if he doesn't

I'm not sure that there's going to be a GOP candidate in 2012 whom will achieve the amazing feat of simultaneously pleasing the teabaggers AND the general electorate. Just think how McCain had to run so far right and nutty that there was really no general support for him come election time. It will probably be worse for the presumptive Republican nominee in 2012. I'm not sure who (other than Santorum) is going to be willing to go up against Obama in 2012 now (though they'll have to put SOMEBODY up, of course). Hopefully, Mitch decides to stay in bed.

Then the bottom dropped out.

I would like to think it only affected the 'I can do no wrong' Randian types here, but that's not likely.

North Carolina is overtake slowly by the teafuckers. NC still have democrat governor.

11. Maine, although so far our Repub legislature hasn't gone along with everything our

TeaBagger Guv has wanted. Thank God!

12. New Hampshire, with veto-proof majorities in our State House and Senate...

...and a unanimous five seats on our "Governor's Council".

That's a switch from last year's Democratic majority in all
three branches. A DINO still holds the Governor's office but
with veto-proof majorities elsewhere...

If the Repigs can "deliver" all of these states to Fuckabee/Palin/whoever they are running, we lose the Presidency, the House, and the Senate. Permanently.
It would be the end of the 2 party system. No matter how we vote.

We did a good job in 2008, but it is even MORE critical this election cycle.

26. They didn't take over Mississippi

Teabaggers have been in control of this state since it WAS a state. Getting rid of teabaggers in this state is like getting rid of a bad flea infestation by never using the vacuum and providing them more bodies to feed upon.

I do my best, but ten minutes after hearing a rational view point, they hear a buddy and plummet right back into teabaggerhood.
