Padres Going Camouflage to Salute Troops
http://www.tmz.com/2011/05/02/san-diego-padres-camouflage-uniforms-salute-troops-navy-seals-911-victims-osama-bin-laden-killed/

The San Diego Padres are tipping their caps to the Navy SEALS who gunned down Osama bin Laden by busting out their camouflage jerseys tonight ... TMZ has learned.

San Diego is home for many U.S. troops, including Navy SEALS ... and the USS Carl Vinson -- the aircraft carrier that buried bin Laden at sea.

UPDATE: The Padres announced all active, retired, and veteran military personnel can get two free tickets to tonight's game. You can hear the cheers already ... "USA! USA!!"

3. Good for them............
I think Americans need to place the death of OBL in context. We have brought to terminal justice the man who was the mastermind behind 9/11 as well as the Africa embassy bombings and the USS Cole attack.

But I think the chants of USA, USA, USA last night were premature. I understand people's need to express their sense of vindication after the horror of 9/11 but this war is far from over. This wasn't a sporting event where the World Series or Superbowl end in one side winning. This is an ongoing struggle between very different visions of the future.

6. I thought that the SEALs were a Marine unit
So perhaps the Padres should go "Commando"
