I read somewhere that the papers in front of him were a planned speech that had nothing to do with the attacks that were then happening. Not sure if that's true though.

on edit: This was supposedly right after the "My Pet Goat" reading, when he was "whisked away" to this classroom. Smodlering twin towers are on the tv.
