Unfortunately I was not there at the time but I'm a confirmed Beatles fan.

I read about her introduction to John this way: He showed up at one of her art installations which required climbing a tall ladder which was slightly precarious and looking through an eyepiece. Inside the eyepiece you saw the word "Yes!" written against a white backdrop.

I think I'd be sold too!

Paul left first, for one thing.

For another, they were kids, relatively speaking, and they were growing up. John grew as an artist and found another collaborator.

Yoko was a pivotal and successful conceptual artist already when he met her. Her musical work has been influential on a couple of generations of artists and bands, too.
