The questions on the Ask The Administrators forum get answered about once a week. I don't really ever ask questions there, but I read the forum pretty regularly, since it's a good place to learn more about how DU works and how things are handled on a really, really busy discussion forum.
So, I click into the forum occasionally, to see if any new answers to questions have shown up. Today, I did that...just a few minutes ago, and found the process going on. As I watched, read, and refreshed the page, questions received answers, one-by-one. Each answer addressed the question, and answered it, with Skinner doing the honors. As usual, the answers were calm, logical, and showed considerable thought when the question was a difficult one.
It was sort of like looking over Skinner's shoulder as he took all the questions and figured out how to respond to them. And yes, I should be doing something else, but it was a fascinating process to observe as it happened.
Thanks, Skinner, for making the process that underlies DU so open and observable. I wouldn't have your job for any amount of money, but I sure appreciate the effort it takes to keep DU operating as smoothly as it does. And thanks for the ATA forum, where we can all see that process!
Oh, yeah... There are some crumbs on your keyboard, just above the number keys...
