I think dropping Bin Ladin's body off into the ocean/sea was a very smart thing

The last thing we want is some memorial to him. Some shrine created or anything that would keep his memory alive. Get rid of the body as quickly as possible and get the Muslim world to move on...At first I really thought it odd, but the more I think about it the better I feel about this decision.. "Out of sight, out of mind"....

I think we have the body, but want to convince that Islamic world that we don't. No attempt to get the body back if we dumped it in the sea...

Either that, or the body (or most of it) was buried at sea, but we kept the head, or hands, for additional proof should it ever come down to requiring it.
