there was no funeral, there were no remains

parents died heartbroken

friends feel the void

there was no closure

This for me helped that closure

Glad that son of a bitch is dead and I am GLAD the USA troops did it. Had I been there, I would have taken a turn

4. My sister's HS BF had retired from C-F the year before
Your HS BF probably knew her, she was there for years.

I'm heading home this weekend and plan to take a walk to the 69th St Pier... to sit on the dock of the bay (so to speak) and look at the Empty Sky in Lower Manhattan.

5. We have a family friend who cannot leave her apartment in the Village
and hasn't since 9/11. She had missed the bus that morning and arrived after the first tower was hit, and then witnessed the collapse of both. All of her friends she worked with at Cantor-Fitz died that day. She still questions why she survived. I cannot get through to her. I hope she is at peace now. Hopefully she has gone for a walk.

6. Survivor guilt is the pits.
I hope she's gone for a walk, too.

7. She worked on 106. She is terrified of leaving her safety net apartment now
she is on permanent disability, without question, and she didn't spend a dime of her settlement. She has a new cat, and she has people in the building watching out for her. But she survives with questions no one on earth can answer.

8. That's what therapy is for. I wish she'd spend for that.
But I have to say I think there's more going on there.

Why was she included in the settlement?

14. I don't know. I've tried not to pry, tried not to make it worse since I am not qualified
Last went there three years ago. Send cards on holidays. Brother helps her I think. Maybe a relative worked with her. That has to be the reason for a settlement. There are many like her. I hope the living and dead find peace soon.

Be well.

13. It wasn't' a funeral for me, just a quiet piece of Justice
and solace.

Just wish her mother was still alive to see it.

I think losing her only child in the way it happened, caused her death.

For me, it is over.

The only thing BETTER would be to bring our troops home!
