If perhaps you question either the method or the legality of killing the murderer Osama Bin Laden
simply click on this link, read the article, and understand this one photograph says everything about the fates of thousands that day, and thousands more of their families who survived.

Thank you.

1. I don't have a position one way or the other
Edited on Tue May-03-11 05:50 PM by JonLP24
because I don't know all the facts yet and I'm waiting awhile for them to come out but not a fan of this argument.

We might as just kill suspects in Liquor Store robberies & murders and if anyone complains, show a picture of the clerk's corpse.

I think it is important to have due process no matter how bad the individual. However, like I said, I don't know enough about OBL's death to question the method or the legality.

3. That says nothing to the questions asked about methods or legality.
The real issue is that even the most successful commando raid is going to be a messy, crazy enterprise. True, it matters whether there was an order to kill OBL. But if not, if it were "dead or alive" for example, then I will not second-guess what did happen unless there is evidence that the soldiers really went off the deep end (as we KNOW has happened in Iraq, Afghanistan, and earlier in Vietnam).

4. The rule of law should be set aside after 9/11
up to this point and beyond? Is that your argument?

5. I asked you to click a link and decide for yourself, I cause no argument
you can agree he deserved to die like a rabid dog, or you can decide he had rights in a country that was hiding him and sponsors terror.

Have a nice evening. :hippie:

6. Or I can understand that the law is the law
unless and until it is changed, regardless of what event takes place in the meantime.

Why continue the facade of being objective? It's obvious you have an opinion. Why not make your statement and roll with it? It's no big deal. :P
