Get ready for the fireworks. |

I'm thinking that the Dems "inability" to pass a budget was a calculated move. It will force the Republican's hand as the debt ceiling will either need to be raised or deep, deep cuts will need to be made. We've seen what happens when Republicans are in charge. Their 2003 Omnibus Spending Bill which was expensive and packed with pork as well as their loose purse strings should make this interesting.
Watch as the "Republican hegemony" gets ripped apart as old-school Republicans like John "Weeping Orange" Boehner fight to make sure that the corporate trough is filled to the brim.

1. It was different in 2003. |

Junior was president. Congressional Republicans gave him all the money he wanted. Now they'll be concerned about the deficit. Until there's another Republican president.

2. They have ALOT of debts to repay. |

I'm pretty sure that their corporate buddies aren't going to be too happy if they don't get a sizeable return on their heavy investment in the last election. Otherwise, election coffers will start drying up and they will start panicking.

3. I think it was calculated by the Republicans who stopped it from passing... |
|
because they want to make this an issue.
The budget and debt ceiling will be used to strip spending from everything but Defense. This is about getting the Senate and the White House in 2012. They can put off feeding the pigs until they have it all again.
