Filibuster Reform Watch 2011

I am posting this so that I may eat crow after the senate reforms the filibuster, so that minority rule ends and it can no longer be used by those mean ol' repulicons to keep Obama down.

I have made comments that 1) there is really no difference between both parties now; 2) both do the bidding of their corporate paymasters and both work against the middle class and working poor; and 3) filibuster is used as political cover by the Democratic party as a means to tell the Professional Left to go to hell (in effect).

Well, now it is time to prove me wrong. Senate rules can be changed at the beginning of the session. Fooled Democratic leadership (wink, wink) have seen for 2 years how the republicons have manipulated the senate rules and kept Obama from getting his Change We Can Believe In through Congress.

Now, let's see what the Senate Democrats do with filibuster reform. Senate Dems, do you stuff. I look forward to be proven wrong.
