Everyone knows that in a crisis the best person to handle the job is a Democrat.

(If someone has already pointed this out my apologies)

2. Personally, I would rather be in New Jersey,
or NY where I was, during the blizzard than at Disney in Florida for Christmas, or ANYTIME.

5. there are many of us in Florida who share the same feeling - been here for
27 years and have yet to visit Disneyworld - and have never lived more than 60 miles or so away from it.

But - it helps keeping us out of state income tax - so I am a big supporter.

7. When our kids were little, we went to Florida on vacation one year
As soon as we told them we were going to Florida they started yelling "DISNEYWORLD!" So we said okay but if we go to Disneyworld, we will have to drive down to Florida, spend one day at Disney and then come home because that one day will use up all of our vacation money.

The kids immediately agreed they didn't want to go to Disneyworld. LOL

8. We turned down a trip several years ago
and my siblings were really annoyed with us. We'll never go...it's just not us.
I went to Leggo Land in Denmark in '93 - and of course Coney Island when it was Coney Island way back when.

10. It's not us either
But we did go to Disneyland a few years later. I was in Anaheim for a teachers convention and we got a discounted package. So at least my kids were not completely deprived of the Disney experience.

11. His decision to go to Florida was correct - it was his decision to come back that was an error (n/t)

12. That's too damned funny
And very true

But, he came back so he could take credit for it not turning into a disaster of epic proportions
