VIDEO: Iowa Voter to Newt Gingrich: ‘Why Don’t You Get Out Before You Make A Bigger Fool Of Yourself
http://thinkprogress.org/2011/05/17/gingrich-fool/

Yesterday, Newt Gingrich made his first trip to Iowa. From the looks of it, he did not receive a warm reception. Shortly after his arrival he was confronted by a Republican voter who was quite upset that Gingrich described the GOP budget plan as “right-wing social engineering” and “radical.”

Voter: Speaker Gingrich, what you just did to Paul Ryan is unforgivable.

Gingrich: I didn’t do anything to Paul Ryan!

Voter: Yes, you did. You undercut him and his allies in the house.

Gingrich: No, I –

Voter: You’re an embarrassment to our party.

Gingrich: I’m sorry you feel that way.

Voter: Why don’t you get out before you make a bigger fool of yourself.

5. Actually, Trump got out before he made a bigger fool out of the Republican Party
He'd already kind of maxed on how much of a fool he could make of himself.

8. Get an air popper (yard sale).
Plain popcorn is much cheaper in bulk. Save your planter space for tomatos, peppers, and radishes - chives and cilantro, too.

Supply up - it's gonna be a double feature!

6. Priceless!
I love it, but there's one thing you have to keep in mind. The guy who said it to Newt is way way worse than Newt himself.

11. The guy who said it is an ideologue. Newt is just a conman.
I expect he'd be all for the Ryan plan once he'd been sworn in, but his political calculations tell him to position himself to the left of the other loons right now.

15. The guy who said it isn't running for President. I will gladly
cheer on the right wing nuts who are in the process of destroying their own party.

A big stinky gas bubble. His appeal to any side of the aisle is a fraction of a percent.

10. I still think he has a good chance at winning
He won't win Iowa and isn't trying to. He is talking economic and political realities which is that Paul Ryan's budget will lose the over 55 vote. Republicans will lose to Obama big if they lose that vote. He's trying to come off as a centrist. That kind of person doesn't generally do well in the early GOP primaries but McCain eventually won with a similar approach. Newt is nutty enough to steal some votes from the nuts, and he is more interesting than the dull Pawlenty. He's still in it because there is no one in the race right now to walk away with it.

23. now if Newt cross-dressed, we'd have our own Benny Hill comedy
Dunno -- but it always struck me how much he looks like Benny Hill. A Benny Hill with his humor surgically removed.

18. The really scary thing is that Newt is just not right enough.
What has happened to the Republican party is frightening. Newt used to be the worst of the worst. Now he's a "moderate"?!?

holy shit

20. While Funny, This Video Should Highlight An IMPORTANT Fact
and that is that even Newt is considered a RINO by some on the far right. When Newt-Fucking-Gingrich is not far enough to the right for you on fiscal policy, you've fallen off the cliff.
