I can certainly understand dispensing with condoms with a trusted partner, but to not have some kind of birth control seems ludicrous. Particularly these days, when it can be as simple as getting a shot every three months.

In order to wear a condom, you must own a condom. When you're married, posession of condoms is pretty good evidence that you're cheating. The simple purchase of a condom dramatically increases your chances of getting caught.

Of course...so does pregnancy.
