Man-On-Dog-Sex-Ricky: McCain... who was fucking TORTURED... doesn't understand torture
Santorum: What does McCain know about torture?
The presidential hopeful claims torture survivor John McCain simply doesn't understand how torture works
Justin Elliott

http://www.salon.com/news/politics/war_room/index.html?story=/politics/war_room/2011/05/17/santorum_mccain_enhanced_interrogation

Now comes presidential candidate and "enhanced interrogation" supporter Rick Santorum arguing on Hugh Hewitt's radio show that McCain simply "doesn’t understand how enhanced interrogation works." Yes, he's talking about the same John McCain who, in his five and a half years as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam, was interrogated during a program of beatings and torture.

Here's Santorum:

HH: Now your former colleague, John McCain, said look, there’s no record, there’s no evidence here that these methods actually led to the capture or the killing of bin Laden. Do you disagree with that? Or do you think he’s got an argument?

RS: I don’t, everything I’ve read shows that we would not have gotten this information as to who this man was if it had not been gotten information from people who were subject to enhanced interrogation. And so this idea that we didn’t ask that question while Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was being waterboarded, he doesn’t understand how enhanced interrogation works. I mean, you break somebody, and after they’re broken, they become cooperative. And that’s when we got this information. And one thing led to another, and led to another, and that’s how we ended up with bin Laden.

1. Santorum is a cowardly piece of shit...
While I could not support McCain for president, I cannot in any way diminish his ordeal during his time as a POW, and anybody who does, especially a coward like Santorum, is excrement.

21. I think you meant to say...
Santorun is a cowardly frothy mixture of fecal matter, lubricant, and semen.

Just saying.

4. McCain is not a nice guy, BUT....
I will always respect him for surviving seven years in the hole, especially when there was an opportunity to get out.

11. Me too. And I think Santorum is out of line for saying he didn't understand
"enhanced interrogation." Senator McCain knows more about torture than any man should ever have to know.

7. Yup, That Silly Old Meme
that allowing gay marriage will mean that you'll have people marrying their pets, their children, umbrellas and ect. etc.

14. Marrying my umbrella? I never thought of that. I just use my umbrella without
marrying it or even saying an occasional "I love you" to it.

Does that mean I'm a bad person?

8. Well, sex FOLLOWED by marriage, but yes. That's the short version.
Edited on Tue May-17-11 02:55 PM by Amerigo Vespucci
If a man can marry a man and have sex with a man, then why can't a man have sex with a dog and marry a dog? Let's just throw ALL the rules out the window.

That, in a nutshell, is Ricky's "platform."

9. My favorite comment on Salon about this article
"I think santorum (the frothy mixture)wants to change its name out of shame of being associated with this ahole"

I think that pretty much says it all.

12. All I ask is that you remember...
...that there are many people of faith...myself included...who piss on "very religious men" like Santorum.

"Religious" has an endless number of possibilities. In my situation, for example, I choose to be a Christian...but that doesn't mean I see Atheists or Agnostics as "wrong." I see them as people who have chosen beliefs that are right for them, just as I have chosen beliefs that are right for me.

I don't support blanket statements....but I do support free speech and the rights of others to make blanket statements, if they feel they must.

19. It's the word.
"Religion" is a horrible word. You can have faith without being religious. The sad part is how many refer to themselves as religious that have no faith. It's all just learning to dance just in case they're asked to the prom.

That's my blanket statement, damnit. ;-)

20. So true
It's like "I AM A SNOWFLAKE."

Great.

What the hell does THAT mean?

The fact that I consider myself to be a man of faith, who lives it and practices it, really means NOTHING when discussing the person next to me. They have their own agenda, and I have neither the time nor the interest to "align myself" with it.

13. Oh yeah, I'm sure Snotorum had access to all those
secret memos and records that trace the investigation. He read the "news" at Newsmax and fox and thinks they're writing the truth. So that is "everything I’ve read shows that we would not have gotten this information as to who this man was if it had not been gotten information from people who were subject to enhanced interrogation. " for him

25. So cavalier when talking explicitly about breaking people with torture
Edited on Tue May-17-11 07:28 PM by Heywood J
until they "become cooperative". How very Inquisitional of him. I wouldn't blame McCain at all if he punched Santorum in the face. Hell, I'd cheer and chip in for bail.

At what point can we start equating Santorum with the Chinese communists that tortured American POWs?
