Inventor says new underwear will protect from TSA screenings
ERLANGER, KY (CNN) - A Kentucky man is offering airline travelers a way to improve their own security. The patriotic undergarments are for travelers who don't want to expose too much during TSA screenings.

Marc Carey, of Erlanger, created the "Scannershirts." He says they can blur the scanners in certain parts of the wearer's body. The trick is in the ink.

There are two separate styles - boxer briefs and bikini style.

Carey said his goal was to make something attractive to wear that won't interfere with the screening process.

9. Anyone who thinks it won't happen .. did anything think
20 years ago that airports would be using scanners that can virtually strip passengers?

The only question is what the justification will be.

11. Yeah! What the justification will be, then how far will it go, and then what will be next. I really
visualize the stoked fear in this country leading to implanted chips so we all are constantly going by virtual check points. Already some do that, but I could foresee it being mandatory across the population, you know, just to keep us real safe. I'm sure it's on the drawing board for mass usage and some is already used.

There are a lot of control freaks that love this type of stuff. They will dream up the justification ... everyone in the entire country mapped into a database. I could see that sooner than latter. It will make the scanners seem like child's play.
