Delaware woman finds stranger napping on couch, suspect runs out with beer in hand
Wouldn't this be weird if it happened to you? The http://www.therepublic.com/view/story/f4c29eca2b8b4d9b9f4bd31a5ea6ab87/DE--Burglar-Nap-On-Couch/">AP reports

"LONG NECK, Del. — A Delaware burglar is facing charges after being caught napping in a home and fleeing with a beer in hand.

Delaware State Police say a 63-year-old woman in Long Neck woke up Tuesday to find her front door open and someone sleeping on her couch. The homeowner told the man she would be calling police. The man ran out with a beer — one of several he apparently consumed at the house.

Police say a state trooper later found 29-year-old Bradley Furchak of Millsboro walking along a road, drinking the beer.

Furchak is charged with burglary, theft, drug and alcohol charges."

I would be tripped out if that happened to me.

2. Do you often drink beer in strangers' houses?
Just remember not to get comfortable on the couch and fall asleep.

3. This happened to a guy I know
He was asleep one night and wakes up from this big crash of glass. He goes down stairs, and his kitchen (back) door's window had been smashed and he calls 911. The police officer arrives and says he'll search the house to see if anyone is there, and comes back and says, nope, no one here. Just then, a guy sits up on the sofa. The guy who lives there says "WHAT ABOUT HIM!?!"
and the cop says "You mean he isn't with you?" And the guy is like "NO!"

You know, it is probably much better hearing that story in person.

LOL. The guy was coming home way too drunk and picked out the wrong house, when he couldn't get the key to work he got so frustrated he just broke the glass, went in and crashed on the sofa.

4. That would freak me out too

I hate it when someone wakes me up from a nice nap.

She should have come into the house more quietly.

6. Something similar used to happen to me frequently
Word had gotten out that my property was public land open for camping and ATV use. Late in the week it was not unusual for me to come home and find campers, riders, etc spread out over what is effectively my front yard. Usually there were a few inebriated individuals in the bunch as well. It took a mix of sheriff deputies, tow trucks, and finally the mother of all security gates to solve the problem.
