about a month ago i did a thread on broken kindle. i tried searching for it

but i am really bad at finding old threads. can anyone who is good at the search, find the thread for me. i wouldnt even know where to start. i believe i had kindle in the subject. and it was in GD.

thanks if anyone can find it for me. it had telephone numbers and sites for me to go onto.

UPDATE..... you ALL are so damn good. i dont know how you do it. but i am really really impressed. THANK YOU so much

i dont get why it does not work for me.

10. Glad you're getting the problem resolved. My sister got my
daughter a kindle last year and she's loved it. We snitch it whenever we can. ;-)


For the search, I searched GD from March 25th to May 25th, "seabeyond" in the author box, "kindle" in the keyword box, and I checked the "search archives" checkbox. Perhaps you have trouble getting results because you forget to tell it to check the archives; I've certainly done that before.

11. If you have a better memory than I do, bookmarking is a good thing to do.
Its hard to remember to do that, though.

Good luck on fixing the reader!

9. I assume you've tried rebooting/resetting the thing by now, right?

My wife's was frozen up for a while, you can reset it by holding the power switch for 20 seconds. :shrug:

don't know where your thread is, though.
