Will this marine's children or Oscar Grant's children call the cops when they're in danger?

and will anybody who has read those two stories think twice when they are in danger --because the chances of making the situation worse cannot be discounted?

1. Every time I'm on BART and see or hear a message to call BART police

I keep thinking their phone number should be 1-800-DONT SHOOT. :grr:

2. for the longest time it seems like i never saw BART police on the trains

usually just in squad cars outside the station with rare exceptions.

3. This is the same Pima County Sheriff's Department

led by Sheriff Dupnik, that dropped the ball in regard to Jared Loughner.

Dupnik needs to at least retire.
