He had a very strict rule about separating politics and Hollywood stars. To my knowledge he never once admitted to supporting a candidate. He came close with Reagan when he introduced Nancy at the R's National Convention. Still, I don't think he ever came out and endorsed him.

I do find it fascinating how many famous people the Kennedy's were able to draw to their side. Especially the ones who would have normally been supporting the Republican candidate.
