Also, didn't most "progressive" Democrats win in the last election and most "Blue Dogs" lose?

the progressive stance on most issues is extremely appealing if the retorts from the 'other' side are successfully and simply parried. But Dems almost never have the gumption to say something like "oh, so you're for the rich like you not paying a fair share. I see."

We always tiptoe around as though we were gonna wake a baby or something...
