republican congres members should test the medical voucher concept
Each one gets $12,000 and must buy insurance on the open market as an individual.
They will be given assumed names and there can be no reference to their occupation.
Neutral observers will monitor purchase and use of insurance and all medical procedures and appointments.
So the likes of Grassley, Hatch, Sessions, deMint, McConnell, Cornyn etc. can do America a great service as guinea pigs for their plans.

4. About 45% of the members of congress are millionaires - many of them
many times over.

3. And they should add age...
pre existing conditions and no where else to find extra "scratch" to fill in what insurance would not cover.

5. There's a voucher system now
so there is no need to test. Those eligible for Medicare can choose a private Medicare Advantage policy from an insurance company. The federal government will fork over the average cost per Medicare recipient plus 12%. The prior voucher program offered the Medicare average cost without the 12% additional, and too few companies chose to participate. So we know now that private insurance costs more. Its sad that nobody is pointing this out about Paul Ryan's plan.
