If NY 26 can go blue after having been overwhelmingly Republican for decades, Bachman's vote to kill Medicare could very well spell trouble (for her) in a District where her margin of victory has been 10% or less over the course of the past 2 elections. With up to 100 Republican House seats at risk, much of the outside million$ in contributions that have helped keep her in office could go elsewhere. Or... with the help of her fundie base she could actually get the GOP 2012 nomination and lose in a freakin' landslide.
