It is a pretty impressive list. Especially when you consider it has just been over two years.

I think your post is quite insensitive and possibly bigoted.

Thanks for posting that. Unfortunately there are some who will never be pleased, regardless of what is done.

The POTUS has done an enormous amount for just about everybody. Pity that some people refuse to see that.

6. Looks like a new-ish list.
Fewer speeches and photo-ops than the last one. I guess it was getting harder to pretend that Obama was a "fierce advocate" as time went on and the list was still made mostly of speeches and photo-ops.

I don't remember, did the last one have things that * did too (like lifting the HIV travel ban)?

But, I think it did. I was shocked the easter egg roll wasn't mentioned!

19. The 'list' was put out by the Human Rights Campaign Organization. You got a probem with that?

I am opposed to the way it is used in a "see, see, see, what has been done for you, you ungrateful fags" and the disingenuous nature of the list itself.

Edit: grammatical fuck pas

fuckwits, he has acted in defense of LGTB rights and although he hasn't done everything you want that is no reason to encourage people not to vote for him,"

29. Didn't you get the memo???
What's all this posturing and bellyaching about? Silly goose, look at all the splendiferous and fantastical things our magnanimous Executive has bestowed upon our lowly heads. Why, we should be giddy and gay (not that one the other one!) and dancing in the streets. After all, we must be patient. We must wait, there are much more important things on our dear leader's plate right now than the utter disenfranchisement and discrimination of an oppressed minority group...after all, we don't wanna screw it up for the Dems in '02 er i mean '04, no wait shoulda said '06. Nope, '08 is the key, we shut up till then its smooth sailing for us queers. Uh...hmm...okay, make that '10. Yup, shut our pie holes till 2010 and then the Dems will have our back....wait what....ahh i see, hmmm. Okay, new plan. We shut up about our civil rights, right to full marriage, right to serve openly in the military until ohhhh....2050!! :sarcasm:

I don't believe DU has ever really been truly accepting of our people. *sigh.

5. The first one certainly doesn't count.
Treating HIV as though it's a uniquely LGBT issue only promotes the nonsense that it's a "gay disease." Not only that, but the entry ban repeal was signed into law by *.

16. The blogger lives in Alaska ....
that is why Gryphen (the blogger) posts many anti-Palin posts there.
He is one of the bloggers up there that stays on Palin's ass which has put him on her enemies list.
There is a huge crowd of folks that think Gryphen is a 'great person' for all that he has done in the past and is still doing to expose the 'real' Palin and Palin family :)

28. What have you done for me lately, is a bash on a majority of
LGBTers who are fighting a good fight.

I understand from your prior posting you are a gay male. Do you think people should just shut the fuck up and be grateful for being given crumbs when they are still second class citizens enshrined in federal law?

The type of framing used here in this post is not very flattering to LGBTers who are out there fighting tooth and nail for their rights. Maybe you should re-think your framing.
