Are any major left orgs putting together |

a march/demonstration/occupation of Washington DC when this Medicare debate is going to take place? I'd like to get in on it and I prefer the occupation option. I don't FEEL like being "nice" when these fascists are trying to dismantly the social safety net.
Anybody else feel this way?

1. I'd love to see that happen! unfortunately, for health reasons, I couldn't |
|
physically jin you, but I'd support you and all other participants in any way I can. I think a large enough crowd would demand news coverage, and enough bad publicity would sway enough Pubbies that the damn thing would die!

2. OH yeah, it's PAST time to put "courtesy" |
|
in the past and get MILITANT about this. I'm FIRMLY convinced that if they get rid of Medicare for some, they will eventually get rid of it all together.
Somebody big like AARP or NCAAP or the AFL-CIO needs to get this started. WE NEED A PRESENCE IN DC WHEN THEY START TALKING ABOUT IT!
