Manning unstable, unfit for service in Iraq: fellow soldier
Source: Raw Story
By Kase Wickman

Bradley Manning, the U.S. Army intelligence officer accused of leaking thousands of government documents to whistleblower group WikiLeaks, was deemed unfit for service in the military, according to reports unearthed by The Guardian.

Manning was so unstable prior to his deployment to Iraq that he wet himself, was prone to fits of rage directed at commanding officers and was frequently required to submit to psychiatric evaluations.

"I escorted Manning a couple of times to his 'psych' evaluations after his outbursts. They never should have trapped him in and recycled him in . Never. Not that mess of a child I saw with my own two eyes. No one has mentioned the army's failure here – and the discharge unit who agreed to send him out there," said an officer who was at Fort Leonard Wood military base in Missouri with Manning in 2007.

In addition to Manning's instability, interviews with soldiers who served with him in Iraq revealed that security at the base was very lax, with passwords to classified network written on sticky notes and left out in the open, and that rank and file soldiers would watch graphic, classified "kill videos" for entertainment.

4. I have NO DOUBT OBL watched porn
Piety is a farce...

We are human beings with a craving for sex. You can lock yourself in a cave and you will still crave sexual stimulation.

As Marc Perkel said, some people have lived lives without sex, but I can guarantee we did not descend from these people.

6. ++!
Religion exploits our sexuality and our instincts. They'll ban masturbation - an act which every primate has done for millions of years, then when people succumb to instinct, make them feel guilty, use that to fill their minds full of religious memes, and thus perpetuate myths of the invisible sky-daddy.

9. Nope. It's at best a 50-50 chance
they found porn there. Personally, I've no doubt the alleged porn finding was pure psyops to demoralize his followers. Religion really has nothing to do with it when considering if he did or did not watch porn.

3. Far from the only one
Not that it makes it right. Plus there is a stigma in seeking help, even for physical injuries.

5. He obviously isn't too smart. How he released info and to whom was blatantly stupid.

7. so rawstory went
and talked to private snuffy who said these things, which means it's fairly meaningless.

He obviously was not "deemed unfit" or would have been chaptered under 5-13 or 5-17 of AR 635-200.
Happens all of the time. Commanders don't like problem soldiers, and if he was "prone to fits of rage at his commanding officers" he'd have been likely administratively discharged as well.
