But debt apparently does, despite the fact the he and his marionette Shrubya increased the national debt by hundreds of billions during their terms in office, mostly by unrestrained borrowing and spending, while during "wartime", and cutting taxes for the wealthy as well, so the national debt must only "seriously" matter until or when a POTUS with a "D" next to his or her name is in office.

These jackass lying Rethugs whine about leaving their children and grandchildren with trillions in debt, that was mostly created, and grew because THEY held the Oval Office during about 2/3 of the past 30+ years. But they have no problem with "drill baby drill", leaving future generations to deal with less and less scarce crude oil and other natural resources, such as natural gas and coal, while also increasingly poisoning and polluting their inherited environment by calling for more deregulation, and opening up pristine federal lands to exploitation and ruin.
