Happy Memorial Day, Truthseekers! Mike is LIVE tonight at 9PM ET!
On this, the last Monday in May, Decoration Day, or Poppy Day, do you know where your GOP Presidential candidate is, Truthseeker? The answer might surprise you.
Yet-to-announce potential candidate Sarah “Barracuda” Palin is looking all zipped-up sexy and mavricky on her bitchin’ Harley, kicking off a bus tour with a “freedom” motorcycle ride through downtown DC. The uneasy rider told reporters she is “still kind of contemplating” a White House run. “I think any Republican candidate is very, very electable. This isn’t a campaign bus,” she said. “This is a bus to be able to express to America how much we appreciate our foundation, and to invite more people to be interested in all that is good about America.”
What she lacks in gray matter she makes up for in black leather chaps.
Showing an appreciation for the conservatives in the caucus states, Michele Bachmann is countering Caribou Barbie with a less flashy appearance in New Hampshire, while Tim Pawlenty eats pancakes in Iowa.
There was no word from Camp Gingrich on where the Newtser would be on this day, but if Calista has a hand in his plans, he might be at Tiffany’s.
Join Mike LIVE tonight at 9PM ET for insight and analysis you won’t find elsewhere in the mainstream media! 877-996-2556!
Exercise Your Right to Free Speech!
(while you still can . . . Patriot Act permitting . . . )
Many May Malloy sponsorships are still available!
What better way to express your creativity, exercise your free speech, or channel your inner rage, than by writing a personal message for Mike to read on the air!? Not once, but three times each hour! Think of it as a powerful audio “tweet,” or a unique way to spread the message – your message – about any topic or product you feel deserves personal attention, Malloy-style.
Now more than ever, Truthseekers, we need your support! And at $100 for a thrice-read personalized shout-out, you’re receiving focused advertising for your product, idea, good, service, anniversary or birthday message, amusing observation, or audio love letter. Such a deal!
And the merchandise for sale in our Malloystore not only supports our efforts, but also serves as creative advertising for the program! Hey, it makes a great gift (Father’s Day?) for that special Truthseeker (or that stubborn Teabagger uncle) in your life.
And if you like our designs by the artist Sandra Russell, check out her jewelry! www.onewithclay.etsy.com
Thanks to your efforts, we look forward to another year of flying-monkey-free fun and frivolity around our nightly campfire! Join the party LIVE at 9PM ET 877-996-2556!

May 30th, 2011
Most celebrate the day as a summer kick-off, paid vacation day from work, with burgers and brats on the grill, blockbuster movie releases, breaking out a fresh tube of sunblock or packing up a picnic basket for the park.
But for our troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, and in older theaters in the never-ending American wars there is little to cheer about.
When Canadian Lt. Col. Jon McCrae wrote of red poppies that bloomed across the bloody battlefields of Flanders in World War I, the physician-turned-poet could not have imagined the carnage that faced future soldiers in the Bush Crime Family’s terror wars of the 21st century.
The end of this summer will be marked by the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attack of 9-11-2001. Also the 10th anniversary of our “shock and awe” carpet bombing of Afghanistan. Flash-forward a decade, Osama bin Laden is dead – thousands of US troops are maimed and killed. In an unrelated counter-strike Iraq has been invaded, devastated, and decimated; Saddam Hussein is dead, too. So are his kids. And yet, according to the Obama administration, this ill-defined “victory” in the “war on terror” has yet to be accomplished.
What have we accomplished in this latest bloody excursion in American/Western hegemony? What have we learned since Flander’s field?
We have certainly learned how to make Muslims hate us like never before. That’s “mission accomplished” for sure. Nothing like Bush/Cheney/Rummy to make an otherwise peaceful follower of Islam turn vigilante when their family is raped, imprisoned, beaten and/or murdered for no reason, other than because they follow the “wrong” religion and live in the “wrong” part of the world.
And we’ve learned a great deal about PTSD. How cognitive dissonance on the battlefield – ie, killing innocents simply because they’re there – has engendered a generation (or two) of mentally disturbed war veteran/victims, returning home to be plagued with nightmares from the killing field, to abuse their families, become homeless, kill themselves, or suffer numerous other physical and mental disorders.
Was it worth it, Truthseekers? The carnage, the needless death, dismemberment, and torture. The end of the idealized dream of American freedom? Gas still tops out at nearly $4.00/gallon, at what price?
