The repugs have made me sick to my stomach of the flag and patriotic songs. At one time I loved all things with the American flag. I love the colors and think our flag is the prettiest of them all. (yeah, I'm female and pretty comes to my mind) :P

They've bastardized everything about the flag and our country.

Even a steady diet of Filet Mignon (or whatever your favorite) will eventually make you sick of it, too.
