Dean suggested that Reagan had little impact other than stopping the social progression begun under FDR...

have some breakfast watch some TV. Around 11 the staff would dress him up and run him out to give a luncheon speech which he would mostly read.
He would be dynamic and all the newsers would have film clips to run on the 6:30 news. After the Lunch Ronnie would go back home, get into some comfortable clothes and watch TV.
