"Rick Perry has long insisted he wouldn't run"
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43451285/ns/politics-decision_2012/
He long insisted he wouldn't run. But in recent weeks, he has softened his refusals and his advisers have started laying the groundwork for a campaign in Iowa.

In a video message Friday to a gathering of conservative bloggers in Minneapolis, Perry was circumspect about his next political act as he promoted his record in Texas.

I'm betting he will announce within three weeks and eventually become the nominee. They can't make a less than embarrassing showing with any of the current crop and they know it. If they're talking up Bachsh*t Crazy after the debate, that should tell you how desperate they are. And the presumed front runner Mittens polled fifth a day or two ago.

9. I would rather he blow all his money and remain governor
David Dewhurst kind of scares me.

10. I'm imagining him
Resigning the governorship
Blowing all his money
Still losing the election
Moving back to Texas and shutting up

:)

12. Well, I wouldn't want to wish any more pain and suffering on those folks in Florida
Though I'm sure him and Rick Scott would get along nicely.

2. Rick Perry will remind people of Bush...
...that alone should sink his campaign.

8. Oh, I don't know about that...
When the offensive Obama impersonator who was entertaining the GOP folks mentioned Bush*, he got the biggest applause. x(

4. I'm still baffled as to how a Seccessionist can possibly be considered a candidate for President.
Republicans really do fucking suck.

5. Not to mention Palin... she hasn't said if she'll run or not.
Maybe they are working together Palin/Perry 2012 or Perry/Palin 2012

7. Nah, she's a non-factor at this point
Despite all of the "say hello to President Palin" threads, the repubs want nothing more than to retire her to the Wasilla city council.
