And the culture wars enter a new phase

what just happened in NY State marks a change in gay politics for at least some elements in the Republican Party... and while I applaud it... we might be witnessing the moment when the two parties will, once again, reverse sides.

It has happened before... and it may be happening again. As the more radicals in the Rs are well... marginalized, the more moderate faction may flip with the Ds... which are becoming more corporate.

This is just an observation... watching with interest, that is the interest of the historian.
