It’s easily one of the most-buzzed about (or should we say slammed?) shows in the history of TLC, so it’s natural to assume that Sarah Palin’s Alaska could have a future on the cable network, right? Unfortunately for you caribou-hunting fans, there’s only bummer news to report (for now). EW did its due diligence and discovered there are no plans to send uber-producer Mark Burnett back to Wasilla with Palin, who’s lured an averaged 3.2 million viewers to TLC with her show. So this Sunday’s two-hour finale of Sarah Palin’s Alaska appears to be its last.

This show was aired only because "The Beverly Hillbillies Wasilla-style" wasn't green-lighted.

They couldn't get the rights to the phrase "so Todd loaded up the truck and they moved to Bev-er-ly"

With all apologies to Jed Clampett. Compared to Sarah Palin, he would make a much better governor in Alaska---he already had his money and didn't need to be grifter.

6. I love Alaska

I have worked over much of Alaska, played tourist in Alaska, and watch all TV shows about Alaska to see the sights.

EXCEPT for that dirtbag's show. As much as I would have enjoyed the background scenery, there was no way I could watch her BS.

8. The show served its purpose - It gave Palin national exposure for a year

She had national face time without having to go through any of the the registration process for a political campaign.

Her rich political backers paided the bills and avoided the campaign finance regulations.

This year she will find a new theme to keep her in the news cycle.

What about Sarah Palin's Arizona? If this is true that there will not be a second season, this also might indicate that (a) America's most famous hillbilly jerk-offs really are moving to John McCain Land, (b) She probably is about to launch her campaign and Alaska is just too cold and far away, and (c) We can look forward to Congressman Bristol and Senator Palin if the White House takeover plan flops.

So this outing into plunging numbers and annoying 'talent' was doomed from the start. The margin must have been thin as paper after paying Palin and buying off Burnette with huge fees. And then, no one watched, which is great, because the people have indeed spoken yet again about Palin, and what the People say is 'we'll take a pass on that, thanks.'

... the most being on clips show on the "internets" I learned she can't fish, can't shoot,
was a terrible @ mountain climbing and was only slightly better than TAWD when acting.
