7. Okay, used the FB pic and it's okay sizewise but avatar didn't change

wtf. I HATE this avatar system here. Every other site you can just drag it. Grrr.

9. yeah you're right, it needs to be 48x48 but her AV is 50x50

even so when i tried to resize it in Photoshop, DU's system told me it was too large --ironically, when it actually was too large in Pixels, it told me the upload was successful.

DU's system for avatars is frankly terrible.
