Dupnik: The ones spewing the hate 24/7 know exactly what they are doing
They know damn well there are mentally ill people out there who are susceptible to this kind of vitriol.

I am paraphrasing above. He is right.

1. It was what they wanted
They didn't want to be caught planning a murder; so they just kept at it knowing one day someone would take them literally.

2. 100% correct
And they will continue to say they are not to blame -they love that word 'loner'. It's so convenient.

3. The fact he simply stated the obvious is groundbreaking. Why is

everyone so afraid to speak the truth here in the United States of America?

Good for him for being so brave but terrible for the rest us because the media is catching the vapors over what he's saying.

That is becoming obvious.

7. Alan Grayson lost his seat for speaking the truth.
Maybe, that's why politically. However, we the people, need to hear more of it and should start insisting on it every time we hear a lie, nonsense inflammatory rhetoric or an omission of truth.

11. absolutely. I've been wrking overtime on Twitter countering the
tea party nonsense that it's The Daily Kos's fault but i'm the only one countering the nutbags. So their lies permeate the lexicon. Top chef's Tom Colichio was disturbed by the sarah palin connection and tweeted about it. By the end of the day he succumb to the bullshit and said it was the right (palin) and the left (kos) for inciting violence! I was pulling my hair out but if we don't speak up, the right wing get to frame every conversation and we lose every time.

10. He is still pissed off today
when he talked about the state of Arizona being the tombstone of the nation. Good for him for speaking out, speaking the truth and not backing down!

12. My feeling is that they've been trying to stir up an assassin for some time now
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say "maybe it was unconsious" and not deliberate.

But the rhetoric about Obama and the Dems having "secret plots to destroy American and impose socialism" is basically allowing some nut license to "be a hero" and "stop the socialist takeover" with a gun.

14. There is nothing unconscious about the propaganda they're catapulting.
This has been done deliberately and with extreme malice aforethought. The mentally fragile are the TARGET for which their words are aimed. They went past codewords a while ago, and have sent Beck, Limbag, Coulter, etc. to spew the threats and incitements to violence with the purpose of inciting a mentally unstable FAN to do exactly what that guy in Tuscon did yesterday. Behind the scenes, they are high-fiving each other. There is no doubt about it.
