sheets", and we need jobs, then why don't we simply take half of it in taxes, and create a Federal jobs program like FDR did? (http://bit.ly/feFHha)

Or, take all of it and pay off the deficit that these same companies representatives are screaming about?

It's pretty obvious THEY DO NOT NEED THE MONEY!

Further, they have so much money, they don't even know how to spend it!

Essentially, they are hoarding the money, much of which was stolen through the use of complex financial scams.

I think it is wrong for people to hoard. Imagine if we lived in a small village and there was one villager who was hoarding all of the water during a drought, would this be right?

Tax the 2 trillion. It's a no-brainer. IMHO.

4. It may not be easy...
Nonetheless that doesn't mean we shouldn't do it.

5. Yes, I agree. When I read your post I wondered if there was stimulus
money or bailout money in that figure. If so there should have been a clause that required them to use it for rebuilding the economy within so many months or return it. That would be a start. Too late for that now but any further money to them should have these clauses. No more spending our money overseas so they can increase their profits.
