Do NOT apologize Sheriff. It would be a sign a weakness and capitulation.
Like Richard Durbin blubbering on the Senate floor in a pathetic apology after he told the truth about Abu Grahib. It did nothing to appease his critics who just kept on beating up on him.

Too many times I have seen politicians tell it like it is, only to see them walk it back or apologize later because they couldn't take the heat from the Right Wing echo machine.

The one thing politicians like very much is keeping their jobs.

3. Good, because it's the most honest and factual thing to be heard on the news in years.
And it's beyond time somebody said it.

6. That's fine, but time will tell the test
John Kerry dug in and stood by his remarks in October 2006 (Bush and the Iraq War) for about two days before capitulating.

7. The ironic thing? He'll surely be getting RW death threats if he doesn't back down.
He'll be "public enemy no. 1" to Rush et al. And we all know what that leads to from his violent minions.

I hope to God that Dupnik goes on camera and reads them aloud.

5. He is a Sheriff
A real man. He will never capitulate. He was also accurate.
