Well, that was one of the most surreal moments of my life....

Immediately after interviewing the grieving father of the 9 yr. old victim and asking him "How do you explain all this to your 5 yr. old", Megyn Kelly interviewed Sheriff Dupnik (who is asking for all the hate speech and gun rhetoric to be toned down) and asked:

"Is it appropriate for you as sheriff to inject politics into this tragedy?"

This is the first time I've tuned into cable news for months. Now I remember why I turned it off.

6. I don't have tv, but I'm guessing that the talking points have gone out to

right wingers, not just the cable show directors. And they talking points say: Criticize anyone who mentions politics in talking about the shooting. I can tell from other things being said in blogs.

Think about it - how many gun massacres in this country to you follow anymore - whether a government shooting at a post office, a personal revenge, a problem with a boss or ther Human Resources Dept .... but this one is different and they don't want it to be seen that way.

informed them their lives have been shattered, then she can be critical of someone who does.
