How come the media cannot get a name right these days?
Just heard 'Giffords' referred to as 'Gifford' on CNN.
'Loughner' repeatedly referred to as "Laughner' in media reports. Doesn't anyone want to get it right nowadays?

1. No, not since the newsmodels took over for real journalists.
Tune into Amy Goodman on Democracy Now! tomorrow. She will get it right, but then she's a real journalist.
