It's starting. Nascent Nazism

I told my family years ago that it's time to leave the country. I've fought against this since before Reagan was elected. This disease has metastasized. It's fascism. It's cemented in the fascist propaganda organ - the media.

Those who incite violence feel no restraint and are not held accountable.

Fight it while we still can. Don't be BS'd into silence by calls for "reason". The RW is not silent, nor reasonable. But they'd love it if we were, as the sociopaths tighten their grip and douse their followers with poisoned Kool Aid.

I hope we learn from history and have the courage to draw parallels from the rise of fascism in history.

2. Corporatism IS Fascism

Capitalism, without the bridle of a Democratic Socialism - or rather, corpoprate privatization of government - will lead to fascism.

Remember what was said of Mussolini? That he could make the trains run on time? Just think of the Corporate CEO as a Temporarily Benign Fascist Dictator. Compare all the behaviors and traits of the two, and everything that has happened politically and economically in this country over the last several years will make so much more sense.

5. I took notice when journalists and other Americans

were getting arrested when they got in the way of the political machine. Journalists were arrested at the Republican National Convention and doctors were arrested when they wanted to talk to Congress about health care and were not allowed a seat at the table alongside the insurance companies. That really stuck in my gullet. I said to myself that this isn't right. We may not get the health care we want but trying to stifle some of the voices in the debate with arrests is very police state to me.
