It's more than words the hate talkers used...it's the atmosphere they created...

The rhetoric is that Obama is the enemy, he hates America, and he's a Kenyan Muslim socialist. He wants to destroy America and he's a threat to everything we hold dear. They repeat this over and over until the listeners truly believe that there is no freedom anywhere. In their minds, they are in a socialist country with no freedoms. RW hate radio has fed that illusion over and over.

There was a guy named Adkisson a few years ago who walked into a Universalist church and killed two people. His manifesto plainly states kill liberals. He believes those church goers, liberals, and Dems are the enemies of America. He urged the killings. His reading material consisted of Hannity, Savage, Coulter and a few others who have talked hate.

These people have collectively, including many Repub politicians, created an atmosphere of government hatred, made President Obama out to be a threat to our country, and to see everyone they politically oppose as an enemy to be taken out.

Rather than take any responsibility whatsoever, these people who have created and fed this atmosphere absolve themselves of any responsibility. Then they lay the blame at the feet of their enemies. It's another way of fermenting the paranoia and hatred.

They are the real danger to our democracy.

2. I agree with you so very much. It's 7x24 hour hatred and it's hypnotic to

many people, they believe all of it right or wrong, and mostly wrong. These are very dangerous times in this country and those spreading the hatred should be held responsible for what they bring onto the nation. The hatred they spew is mind numbing. It's getting to be pretty much a large cult of hatred, and a growing list of what/whom they hate.
