Today Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) unwittingly admitted that many member of his caucus wish to create economic chaos in order to pass their agenda through Congress. In a radio interview on the talk show of conservative Laura Ingraham Boehner stated that “a lot of them believe that if we get past August the second and we have enough chaos, we could force the Senate and White House to accept a balanced budget amendment.” Boehner was attempting to explain why he is coninuing to press for his debt ceiling bill even though it has no chance of passing through the Senate.
