Leftists Hate Palin’s Locking, Loading & Reloading Metaphor

Liberal heads are exploding all over the United States. Three words, “Don’t retreat. RELOAD!!!” created quite the stir. So did the image of cross hairs on targeted congressional districts on a SarahPAC ad. The Alinsky trained leftists are in a hissy fit over Governor Palin’s use of gun metaphors. They find it “offensive.” They find it “threatening.” Too bad for them....

We have a little news for you Obama-philes: You better get used to Gov. Palin’s locking, loading and reloading. She won’t sit down and shut up. She’ll keep speaking up and voicing the will of the American people. Get used to the cross hairs on her ads. I hope she puts more cross hairs on the next run of that ad. And if you don’t like our celebration of it, go to another site, because at US for Palin, our lock and load party runs 24 hours a day seven days a week, 365 days a year – 366 on a leap year. We make no apologies for it, and are quite proud of it. Just like Gov. Palin, we don’t retreat. We reload.

I wrote the following as a comment to Jeff Gardner's recent diary, and as with most of my comments, I realized that it was really more of a diary unto itself than a comment. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the manpower or money that produced the Sarah Palin website and its snazzy map with gunsights targeting specific electeds, but I think that the following serves the same purpose without being quite as NRA-friendly.

This all-inclusive statement that many ReTHUGlican leaders most often make when referring to issues that impact all US citizens, infuriates me the most because they have the GALL to IMPLY that they represent the opinion of the vast majority of, if not ALL of the American people, and anyone else is either illegal or irrelevant....:grr:

8. I find it amusing and sad that they don't realize that while..

they're calling gus "Obama-philes" they worship at the alter of Palin. They wait for her words with baited breath. They are cultists. They'd sooner stick needles in their eyes than criticize their queen or allow one word of criticism aimed at her. In their eyes she is perfection and can do no wrong...that's kinda scary. If she ever won the presidency, one has to wonder how much dissent would be tolerated.
